Nobe was born in 1955 in Armenia. His love for art began at a very young age and ultimately became his passion. Nobe graduated from Tirlamesian Art College and received his Masters from the renowned Armenian Art Academy in Yerevan, Armenia in 1983. In 1989, Nobe relocated to Los Angeles. Nobe has exhibited his work throughout the world, including the International Art Exposition in Moscow, where he won several awards. Recent exhibitions include the Affaire in the Gardens Art Show in Beverly Hills and the Sculpture in the Park Show in Loveland, Colorado. His work appears in galleries throughout the United States. Nobe currently holds a position as an Artist Consultant in a private company located in Burbank, where he advises artists on different techniques and concepts related to sculpting.
Nobe combines contemporary notion with a classical quality through sculptures that communicate with the viewer on many different levels ranging from quiet spirituality, to delicate sensuality and dynamic motion. His are expressions of a lasting worth. Nobe's art is highly integrated, deeply sensitive, and thought provoking in a manner seldom attained. His work pleases the senses while expressing a spiritual vitality that transcends them. Nobe creates his original sculptures in clay and then casts small editions in bronze with colorful patina that adds fluidity to the solid forms.
