"Going into my eigth year, I look forward to once again creating an installation of paintings to put before the numerous folks that come out to support ArtWalk. This stellar community event has allowed visual and performing artists to come together, showcase, and sell their work to the many people that attend this event. Each year I am overwhelmed with the dedication of the staff and volunteers that put this event on. It is a labor of love, for the arts and for San Diego.

I have met and encouraged many artists to participate and enjoy the networking that goes on because of this event. I have been invited to teach art workshops, shared my concerns about art education being cut from our schools and been asked to create large commission paintings as a result of ArtWalk."
